Ship Insulator / Insulation Cladder

Long-term shipyard insulation work in Finland. The role covers insulation of ship interior spaces, wall structures, and piping systems. For sheet-metal capable candidates, the role may also include installing or modifying thin metal cladding over insulated pipes, ducts, and technical structures.

Responsibilities

• Insulation of ship interior spaces, wall structures, and piping systems
• Cutting, measuring, and fitting insulation accurately
• Working with wall and pipe insulation
• Sheet-metal cladding over insulated pipes, ducts, and technical structures (for eligible candidates)
• Reading and following basic technical drawings
• Maintaining quality standards in a shipyard environment

Requirements

• Background in shipyard insulation, industrial insulation, or pipe insulation (preferred)
• Experience cutting, measuring, and fitting insulation accurately
• Good spatial awareness – neat, tight-fitting results with minimal gaps
• Ability to read basic technical drawings
• Independent working ability with low supervision
• Understanding of shipyard / industrial quality standards
• Safety-minded – PPE and shipyard rules followed without exception
• English working level minimum (some Russian may be useful)
• Stable, long-term work attitude
• EU citizenship (sourcing from Poland & Lithuania)
